שבת. מחזוריות מקסימה ומאתגרת שדורשת מאיתנו פעם בשבוע לעזוב הכל, את המחשב, את העבודות/ המבחנים ושאר הדברים שיושבים לנו על הראש, ופשוט לנוח. להתאחד עם המשפחה סביב שולחן מלא בכל טוב ולשכוח מהכל.
את האווירה המגניבה והמשכרת לא מצאתי דרך להעביר לכם, אבל הנה בכל אופן מה שלבשתי בערב שבת האחרון.
כשכל האחיינים באים לשבת אין כמו אאוטפיט חופשי ומשוחרר שתוכלי להרגיש איתו בנוח גם לפני הארוחה כשאת רעננה מהמקלחת וגם אחרי, כשאת מותשת מארוחה דשנה ומתאמצת להשאיר את העיניים פתוחות ולא לרוץ למיטה לישון..
עכשיו אני לגמרי יכולה לאחל לכולכן שבוע טוב ומקסים, ואל תשכחו שאחרי כל שבוע מתיש יש סופ"ש רגוע!:)
Weekend. An enchanting and challenging cycle, requiring us once a week to drop everything, the computer, our paper\test, and all the other stuff that's sitting on our heads, and just rest. Unite with the family around a table laid with all plenty, and forget everything.
I couldn't find a way to pass the cool and enticing atmosphere on to you, but anyway, here's what I wore last Saturday night.
When all the nephews and nieces come for the weekend, there's nothing like a free and relaxed outfit that you can feel comfortable in both before the meal, when you're fresh out of the shower, and after, when you're Exhausted form a hearty meal, and straining to keep your eyes open and not dash and crash on the bed..
Now I can totally wish you all a terrific week, and don't forget that after every exhausting week, there's a calm weekend! :)
הי אנשים יפהפיים!! לכבוד ההפוגה הקצרה שיש לי ממבחנים ומתכונות החלטתי להשקיע ולצלם בשבילכם את מה שלבשתי בליל הסדר. האאוטפיט אולי נראה תמים ופשוט למדי, אבל כשמצאתי אותו זה היה בגדר נס לא ייאומן. הסתובבתי עם אחותי היקרה כמעט 5 שעות תמימות (או אולי לא כ"כ תמימות) בניסיון למצוא את הדברים הבאים: 1) נעליים. 2) בגד לליל הסדר. כמה פשוט, ככה מסובך. לא תיארתי לעצמי שנעליים בגזרה כ"כ אפנתית ועכשווית יהיו כ"כ קשות למציאה. ב9 בלילה, כששתינו כבר עייפות וסחוטות ראיתי מרחוק חנות של Steve Madden. שם מצאתי את דגם חיי, נעלי אלטון שחורות מעור מעובד (הפוך). התלבטתי עוד חצי שעה (אני לא רגילה לקנות נעליים ב-400 ש"ח, זאת האמת), שילמתי ויצאנו. בשעה כ"כ מאוחרת ואחרי שסופסוף מצאנו משהו טוב, לא היה שאלה בכלל אם להמשיך לחפש או ללכת הביתה. בעודנו פוסעות לעבר היציאה לחנייה אחותי נכנסה להסתכל רגע ב GOVANA. אני עשיתי לה פרצוף זועף ונכנסתי אחריה. ואאאזזזז- (סטגדדישש) מצאנו גלגל בגדים ב- 40 ש"ח בלבד. כשראיתי את טוניקת הסאטן הנעימה והמאווררת עם הצורות הגיאומטריות הפשוטות אך מתוחכמות, פשוט חטפתי אותה ועפנו הביתה. ואני חיה באושר ועושר עד עצם היום הזה...:)
Hi folks!
In honor of my much deserved small break from exams and the likes, I decided to make an effort, and take photos of what I wore on Passover night. This outfit may seem plain and simple, but finding it was nothing short of a miracle. I roamed the mall with my dear older sister for almost 5 hours, in order to find the following things: a) shoes. b) something to wear on Passover night. This may sound simple, but was actually quite complicated. I never imagined that finding shoes in such a fashionable and current style will be so difficult.
At 9 p.m, when both of us were totally spent and terribly tired, I saw in the distance, over the horizon, a Steve Madden shop. There, I found the shoes of my life. Suede black Alton shoes. I hesitated for half an hour (tell you the truth, I'm not used to buying 120$ shoes..), paid, and left the shop. At such a late hour, and after I finally found something I liked, we unanimously opted to go home. While we were walking towards the exit to the parking lot, my sister slipped "for a moment" into a store named Govana. I was making furious faces and frowning thunderstorms at her, but went inside with her.
And then… I found a 12$ clothes stand.
When I laid eyes on this airy, pleasant-to-the-touch, sateen tunic, with the simple yet sophisticated geometric designs, I just couldn't leave it there. And I live happily ever after… J
לפני קצת יותר מחצי שנה, כשעוד לא ידעתי שתיוולד לי כזאת אחיינית מתוקה, הסתובבתי לי באילת הקיצית והרותחת וחיפשתי בגד חמוד לקנות לתינוקת שעוד לא נולדה אז. כשראיתי את הבגד הקטנטן בצבע סגול מושלם עם ציור ילדותי ותמים של איה החמור...טוב נו, ממש לא יכולתי להשאיר אותו בחנות:)
מאז כבר הספקנו לעבור חורף קפוא מלא בגשמים והתכרבלויות...ועכשיו הגיע הזמן המושלם להוציא את הבגד המתוק והקיצי! כ"כ כיף לחשוב שאחיינית שלי משתוללת ומשחקת ברוח החמה עם הבגד שקניתי לה:) בכלל, אם תשאלו אותי אני לגמרי נגד הלבשת תינוקות בכל מיני בגדים מסורבלים, כמו מכנסי ג'ינס שמגבילים את התנועה וכל מיני שרוולונים עם קשירה שכל הזמן נפתחת..
About 9 months ago, Before I knew I'm going to have such a sweet niece, I was walking around in a blistering Eilat summer, looking for a cute baby clothes for a baby that wasn't born yet.
When I saw that tiny purple outfit, with that perfect, childish and naïve print of Eeyore… well, I just couldn't leave it there J
Since then, we've already managed to go through a freezing winter full of rain and cuddling, and now it was time to break out that cute and summery outfit! The idea of my amazing niece playing and fooling around in the warm wind with the clothes I bought her is so much fun! On the same note, if you ask me, I'm all against putting all these restraining and cumbersome clothes, like jeans that restrict movement and things like that, on babies…

I've been dreaming for a long time now about buying a pair of canvas shoes. The first time I saw it was in EBay. I really love spending my time searching for some cool stuff we don't have in Israel. I immediately fell in love with those cool "Chinese style" shoes and wished to own a couple. The original basic shoes cost 44$, but the thing is we don't have it in Israel. The company which makes them is called TOMS. This is their concept: with every pair you purchase, a child in need gets a pair of new shoes. ONE FOR ONE. I think this is really cool, I love it. Not only you get a beautiful couple of shoes to yourself, you also get to help a poor child in need.
מסתבר שבכל זאת לוקח זמן רב עד שהבשורות החדשות מגיעות לארץ הקטנטנה אך המעורבת בעניינים הזאת.
לצפון, בכל אופן עוד לא הגיעה בשורת הנעליים החדשה- נעלי הבד. אני דווקא הגעתי לנעלי הבד המדהימות של TOMS כששוטטתי כהרגלי במחלקת הנעליים של EBAY. שמתי לב, שכל הנעליים שאני אוהבת ובודקת את המחירים שלהם, שייכות לחברה "עלומת שם" (??) בשם TOMS. מסתבר שהיא לא כ"כ עלומת שם, אבל אני לא שמעתי עליה מעולם. מדובר בחברה שמייצרת נעלי בד מגניבות בצורות והדפסים שונים (מזכיר מאוד את הנעליים הסיניות המסורתיות), ועל כל זוג שקונים- ילד באפריקה מקבל זוג נעליים חדש. מגניב, אה?:) פה אתן יכולות לראות את הנעליים החדשות שלי מגזית, שעלו סה"כ 50 ש"ח. אולי ביום מן הימים אני אקנה זוג מקורי של טומס:) הם נוחות בטירוף, וממש מתאימות לאווירת קיץ הבא עלינו לטובה.
So this is my new pair of canvas shoes!:) Sadly it isn't the original, I bought it from GAZITH in 13$. Maybe one day I'll have the courage to order a real TOMS shoes from EBay:)

Passover is time of facing things. facing all thedirt, facing freedom.
So in honor of the upcoming holiday, I've decided to write for you things about the fashion world that we need to face with.
There are things about fashion I just can't understand.
For example- the famous Louis Vuitton bag. Let's FACE it. This isn't SOO pretty. Or special. Actually this bag represents every sad and disgusting aspect of fashion. It represents the power of money and fame in the fashion world. Something that at least I, think should be hidden and ignored (as much as possible).
Now, the BIG NAILES thing:) I don't know what about you, but from where I come from- it represents lack of fashion sense and bad taste. I mean, come ON guys! You need to be very sensitive in order to achieve a nice and not a scary outcome.
What else? The "Minimalistic Wear" thing. OK, I guess it attrackts man. It sexy, fine, I get it. But it has nothing to do with fashion. it has to do with the human body maybe. But come on, fashion is about clothes. It's about cool textures, fine fabrics and different materials. Clothes is about the PERSON inside them, not his body. But I guess that's a common mistake in this "fashion" world.
Massive heels.
It's good enough for a fashion show maybe. Or for special dinners/ occasions.
But what about REAL LIfE? Most of the people in this world have kids. and a job. and places they need to come and go from. Massive heels, really? Unless you are really talented, it's not comfortable to walk with. Most of us don't really know how to walk elegantly with these scary things. So why bother? I really don't like heels. Right now I'm facing the truth from the buttom of my heart.
I guess that's pretty much it, I feel really relieved now:) Hope I didn't make you really mad, and if I did you are welcome to write it in the comments bellow!

טבעת חדשה מ-Forever 21!!
לא יודעת מה אתכם, אבל יש לי חיבה מיוחדת לתכשיטים עתיקים מלאים בתחריטים, דוגמאות ובלגן..
כחלק מחיפושיי ברחבי הארץ אחר המקום המושלם לעשות בו שירות לאומי שנה הבאה, הגעתי לראשונה בחיי לת"א לגמרי לבדי. אי אפשר להגיד שהכל הלך חלק, מדי פעם הסתבכתי פה ושם, אבל הכל בסופו של דבר עבר בשלום..:)
אחרי שגמרתי עם הראיון והסיור ב"בית בנוה עופר" ביפו, משפחתון של ילדים בגילאים 6-14 שהוצאו מביתם ע"פ צו בית המשפט, לא יכולתי שלא ללכת לבקר בForever 21 לפני שאני חוזרת לצפון השומם.
די מהר התייאשתי ממחלקות הבגדים שכללו מכנסונים קצרצרים עם פאייטים ונעלי עקב ענקיות ומיהרתי לפינת התכשיטים. מבחר ענק של שרשראות, צמידים, טבעות ועגילים. חלקם בסגנון כ"כ פרחי אמריקאי שבא להקיא, וחלקם פשוט מגניבים ומקוריים ביותר. אז אחרי התלבטויות וחיפושים בחרתי את הטבעת העתיקה הזאת שאתם רואים לפניכם.
היא כ"כ מסקרנת ומגניבה שפשוט לא יכולתי להשאיר אותה שם לבדה, בעולם זר ומנוכר שבו אנשים לא יודעים מה זה יופי אמיתי..:)
אז המשך שבוע מצויין שיהיה לכם!
נ.ב: אני מתה כבר לקנות מצלמה חדשה ואיכותית, אם יש לכם הצעות/ טיפים אני אשמח!
אם יש משהו שאני ממש ממש אוהבת בחורף (מעבר להתכרבלות בשמיכה עם שוקו חם וגשם שדופק על החלון בלילה), אלו הרקפות שגדלות לנו בחצר כל חורף מחדש. פשוט מדהים לצאת בבוקר מהבית ופתאום לפגוש את כל הירוק המסנוור הזה ולראות את הפרחים והעלים מתפנקים בטיפות של גשם..
אז תהנו לכם בשבת, שיהיה סוף שבוע רגוע ומפנק במיוחד!:)

אז ככה, קוראים לה ZOE (זואי?) והיא בלוגרית אופנה מהונג קונג. נתקלתי בבלוג שלה לפני מספר ימים כשהסתכלתי באתר האופנה FF בפינת ה"נערות בהשראה", וישר התלהבתי מהתמונה שלה ששמו ונכנסתי לקישור של הבלוג שלה.
יש לה סגנון כ"כ משוחרר מקורי וכיפי, פשוט תענוג!

האמתי שדי נעלמתי בזמן האחרון, אז אני מבקשת את סליחתכם..:)
לשם שינוי היה היום מזג אויר חמים ונעים, לגמרי מרענן אחרי כל השבועות שלא יכולנו להוציא את האף מהבית מרוב קור, אז לא יכולתי שלא לנצל את החמימות לטיפונת צילומים..:)
מה שלומכם אתם?? הכל טוב?:) לא יודעת מה אתכם, אבל כרגע אני כותבת את הפוסט תוך כדי צעקות צווחות ובלגנים שהאחיינים הקטנים והחמודים שלי דואגים להשמיע...כרגע יש פה המון לחץ לקראת שבת (כל האחים הגדולים באו לשבת לכבוד יומולדת של אח שלי הגדול...מזל טוב פריאלון!), אבל עוד מעט תיכנס שבת ואז פתאום כל האחיינים יצוצו מהמקלחות נקיים ורעננים ויהיה שקט ושלווה והשולחן יהיה מכוסה במפה לבנה והמטבח יהיה מסודר...:) אבל תכלס, אי אפשר לדלג על כל הקטע המיותר הזה, עם כל הלחץ והעצבים להספיק הכל לפני שבת?? הצילו!
בינתיים אני עפתי לעזור, שבת שלום וסוף שבוע רגוע לכולנו..:)
